Agarwood
The稀缺王者, worth thousands per gram. Top-grade agarwood sells for as much as $20,000–30,000 per gram. We use agarwood that meets the standards of royal incense formulations, sourced from the heartwood of 30+ year-old wild agarwood trees deep in the mountains of Hainan.
Sandalwood
We use aged Mysore sandalwood from India, matured for a full hundred years. It's important to note that India has long restricted sandalwood exports. The annual production of Mysore sandalwood is less than 50 tons, and of that, over 80% qualifies as royal-grade heartwood. However, less than 10% possesses a flawless fragrance free from any off-notes.
Atractylodes
We exclusively select Maocang Atractylodes from Maoshan Mountain in Jiangsu. This is because the atractylodes grown here must thrive on sunny slopes at altitudes above 300 meters. While ordinary atractylodes costs around $12 per kilogram, our three-year-old Maoshan atractylodes ranges from $170–220 per kilogram.
Myrrh
The resin凝结 from the Somali frankincense tree. Each tree yields only 200 grams of resin. To ensure purity, we manually remove 90% of the impurities—resulting in just 1 jin of final product from 10 jin of raw material. Only myrrh that is yellow-transparent in color and possesses a clear, intense aroma is suitable for incense.
