Of all the combsin the world, if you could only choose three, the Old Buddha Scented Comb wouldundoubtedly be one of them.

Crafted with premium materials, backed by authentic heritage, and offered at an accessible price—today, I am honored to fulfill the mission entrusted by a Beijing inheritance master: to bring this Old Buddha Scented Comb within everyone's
    reach.

Originating from a secret, orthodox recipe, this is by no means a replicated product. It is derived from Empress
Dowager Cixi’s own hair-nourishing aromatic formula, passed down through six generations of Qing Dynasty imperial physicians. The authentic formula can only come from this legitimate lineage—modern attempts to reverse-engineer and fully reproduce the original recipe are nearly impossible.

For now, this Old Buddha Scented Comb is exclusively available in our store, and for the foreseeable future, it will remain so.

Letting ordinary people experience the imperial elegance of the past is the very purpose of our store.

Since we dare to name it the "Old Buddha Scented Comb", every aspect—from the formula and material selection to the craftsmanship—must meet the highest standards, faithfully restoring the exact recipe once used by Empress Dowager Cixi herself.

Known as the "Divine Recipe for Dark Hair," this legendary Fragrant Hair Powder stands as the unrivaled pinnacle of scalp care—a hair-nourishing marvel unmatched across the internet. Even ordinary scented combs pale in comparison!

This scented comb originates from a time-honored formula preserved by a seasoned Taoist physician in Beijing. The recipe, inscribed in bold, vigorous calligraphy with the words "Old Buddha Fragrant Hair Powder," has been passed down through generations of the Taoist physician’s family. It is not merely a list of over a dozen herbs—it embodies the physician’s lifelong commitment to "using only authentic regional herbs and time-honored methods." This makes it incomparable to common scented combs on the market.

I have taken on this responsibility with a profound sense of duty. In promoting this formula, I spare no effort. We are not merely sourcing herbs—we are seeking what the Taoist physician called the "soul of the medicine." We are not just preserving ancient techniques—we are honoring a lifetime of masterful dedication.

All 12 precious ingredients from theimperial formula are included—not a single herbmissing, not a single gram reduced. You won’t findanother seller online who adheres so strictly to the original.

This is not a "palace-style replica" or a "modern improved version"! Ordinary scented combs don’t even have access to the complete formula—the last time it appeared in its true form was in Empress Dowager Cixi’s own palace. Each of the 12 medicinal ingredients strictly follows the efficacy standards recorded in the "Compendium of Materia Medica" and "Kaibao Materia Medica". Licorice root must carry a rich sweetness, while angelica root must emit its distinct aromatic pungency. Any ingredient that fails to meet these standards is immediately discarded.

The formula follows the ancient principle of "Monarch, Minister, Assistant, and Guide" in ingredient pairing:

     · The Monarch ingredient establishes the core effect, working directly to unblock follicles and nourish the hair.

    · The Minister ingredients support its strength, gently stabilizing the scalp and delivering essential nutrients.

    · The Assistant and Guide ingredients direct the formula to the targeted meridians, balancing yin and yang without causing dryness or irritation.

Styrax oil serves as the "soul of the formula"—naturally binding the ingredients while enabling deep transdermal absorption of the active properties. It was recorded that after long-term use of this formula, the Empress Dowager experienced "hair regrowth even after loss, and no graying until old age." Our store now revives this legendary hair-nourishing recipe—an achievement far beyond the reach of ordinary combs. Each comb-through offers a deep healing experience for your scalp.

From the Empress Dowager's ancientformula to the creation of the "Live Medicine Comb," we uphold threemajor artisanal processes, infusing each step with a craftsman's dedication.

    AncientPreparation Methods: Rejecting Mechanical Grinding

We use traditional stone mills to slowly
grind the fragrant materials, preserving their active components to the greatest
extent. The powder is then meticulously sifted through 120-mesh and 180-mesh
screens until it becomes fine as dust, without a single coarse grain.

     Meticulous Handcrafting

Master artisans with over 20 years of
experience oversee the entire process. Each comb undergoes 46 steps, taking 360 hours. This includes blending the medicinal powder into clay, kneading, pounding, a 15-day natural drying process in the shade, and repeated polishing. Each piece carries the warmth of handcraftsmanship. While others seek mass
production, we relentlessly pursue the uniqueness of "handmade only," creating a true hair-nourishing comb.

Symbiosisof Medicine and Comb: Nourishment with Every Stroke

Only our Empress Dowager Composite Scent Comb achieves this.We select comb blanks
made from breathable, skin-friendly natural materials, creating micro-pores that allow the medicinal clay to deeply penetrate. This ensures the powder doesn't fall off or evaporate. While combing, the scalp's temperature activates
the essence of the medicinal herbs, allowing them to seep into the skin through friction. No need for numerous bottles and jars; your daily combing routine becomes a wellness ritual.

ThisEmpress Dowager Composite Scent Comb is not just a hair care tool; it's aheritage of Eastern culture.

Our store is the only one that fully delivers on formula, material selection, and craftsmanship. Ordinary combs don't even qualify to "copy the homework."

Whether for personal use—to comb away greasiness and anxiety and restore thick, strong hair—or as a gift, it is the unparalleled choice that combines taste and practicality. It's perfect for showing filial piety to elders, conveying love
to a partner, or expressing genuine care to a friend. This is the true capability of the "Empress Dowager Composite Scent Comb."
